My Reading List

Today I thought I’d share with you some of the books on my reading list. If you read last weeks post you’ll know that I want to take every opportunity to read this year as in the past few years it’s been a bit of a struggle for one main reason: as you might know I’m studying Creative Writing at uni and my love for reading was a contributing factor to that, however, as reading is a big part of my course sometimes I struggle to pick up a book and actually enjoy it so I’ve made it a personal goal to read more outside of my course and not do it because I have to but because I want to. I’m not going to go into detail about the books but if you, like myself, want some inspiration on what books to read then this might help you out.

The Widow by Fiona Barton

SNAP by Belinda Bauer

The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson

Filth by Irvine Welsh

This is Going to Hurt by Adam Kay

You Think It, I’ll Say It by Curtis Sittenfeld

The Cleaner by Elisabeth Herrmann

The Good People by Hannah Kent

The Good Liar by Nicholas Searle

The Underground Railroad – Colson Whitehead

Americanah – Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

She Must Be Mad – Charly Cox

Outline by Rachel Cusk

Binge – Tyler Oakley

The Clocks in this House all tell Different Times – Xan Brooks

Have you read any of these books or have any suggestions for books I should read? Let me know in the comments below xx
