Over the past couple of years I always go through the same routine: start a new journal, write a bucket list on the first few pages, never look at it again. It’s an endless cycle that I want to break and I figured being in my first year at university would be a good place to do it.
People seem to write bucket lists for different reasons and it seems to be a very personal thing. Those of you who don’t know what a bucket list is (which probably isn’t anyone) it is a list composed of things you want to do in your life. As you go down and complete them you cross them off and keep going until there all done! Simple really.
My bucket list is composed of a lot of random things that I wanted to do when I got to uni. Such as: dye my hair (done), go kayaking (done), have a beach bonfire (not done), learn Spanish (not done) and learn how to surf (not done). I also put on there places I want to travel too: Amsterdam, Iceland, New York, Canada, San Francisco and Croatia. And then some personal goals: Take a photo everyday, grow my hair, become more flexible, write a book and so on.
If you’re ever stuck for things to put on your bucket list then definitely go on Pinterest. It’s a great place to get inspiration and find some ideas on. Also I’m kinda a Pinterest addict so you’ll always find me on it
What kind of things would you put on your bucket list?
