Morning Skincare

IMG_5294IMG_5289If I had to choose between skincare and makeup then without a doubt I’d go with skincare. And it’s taken a while but I’ve finally found a routine that works for me, one that I am going to share with you today so sit back and enjoy.

Cleanser: In the morning, as I double cleanse in the evening but more of that on Thursday, I love to use the Oskia renaissance cleansing gel. A cleanser filled with vitamins and fruit enzymes to refresh dull looking skin which seems to describe my face perfectly right now.

Toner: Day or night, rain or shine I will always, without fail, use the two same toners: starting with the Pixi Glow Tonic as a gentle chemical exfoliant and then moving onto Serozinc by La Roche Posay; a lovely spray for blemish prone skin. I wouldn’t say I get a lot of blemishes but I am prone to getting to odd one or four every now and then.

Moisturiser: Now this may seem high maintenance but I have three moisturisers to use daily (hear my out).Firstly I have been loving Idealist by Estee Lauder which, while not your typical moisturiser, aims to minimise pores and makes my skin so smooth. Then two holy grail products from clinique their moisture surge moisturiser does a great job at quenching my oh so dehydrated skin and their City Block SPF does just what it says on the tube. Plus it’s got a little bit of coverage so perfect for those minimal makeup days.

That’s all I use from day to day for my morning skincare what are your go to products? Remember to check out Thursday’s post about my evening skincare.
