Working in an office is a breeding ground for snacking. But there are ways to stay healthy when you sit at a desk all day.
#1 Walk – if that means walking to and from work or walking to a local shop on your lunch break to by food instead of getting the tube then do it. Fresh air will do you good and
#2 Get out on your breaks – It may be easier to stay at your desk to have lunch but your body is not thanking you for it. Go outside and whatever you do DO NOT stare at a screen
#3 Stretch it out – This is a great way to start and end the day, to prepare you for your work and also remind you to relax at the end and forget about work
#4 Tea time – taking a tea break is one of my favourite things to do. Walking away from my computer and popping on the kettle always seems to give me a little pep in my step. This also gives us social media addicts a chance to scroll through our news feeds before getting fully focused and get back to work
