New Habits for Better Mornings

IMG_6397I am without a doubt a morning person, I don’t like to sleep in because otherwise I feel like half the day has been wasted and, right now, daylight is in short supply. However I am a writer and like many writers i am most inspired at night so sometimes find myself writing into the evening and, on the odd occasion, the early hours of the morning. 

That or I’ll be obsessed with a new TV show on Netflix and watch it until my laptop dies. For 2016 I would like to implement a few new habits for the evening to make them as good as the morning. 

#1 Write tomorrow’s to-do list and leave work there 

#2 Take of makeup ASAP 

#3 Have a little pamper

#4 Light Candles and turn down the lights

#5 Don’t just scroll through social media for the hell of it 

#6 No screens an hour before sleeping 

#7 Read for at least 30 minutes to settle the mind
