I feel like the luckiest girl alive, cliched – i know, but I genuinely feel so lucky to have such great friends!
Not only was I treated to dinner, cocktails and Ben Howard last week with my bestie, I was also surprised with a trip to London to see a show with one of my favourite girlies.
I knew we were going to London to see a show and as we had a half day we decided to go in a little earlier and enjoy some of the bright English weather.
After enjoying the sunshine and blossom in Regent Park we wandered down to ping pong (after getting a little lost) where we sipped cocktails and popped back dim sum until we looked like the little buns of joy!
Once the mandatory stop outside Liberty to gaze at the flowers was complete, it was only then that it was uncovered that little miss “I can keep a secret” revealed two tickets to see Cat’s which happened to be a mere 15 metres away from where we stood! How I didn’t figure that one out I don’t know but nevertheless, I did a little jump on the spot and we headed straight there.
Of course stopping to do some necessary sunglass, jeans and nail varnish buying in Topshop before hand.
Not only did the seats have a great view, but the choreography blew my mind. The chorus were the best part of the show for me as everything was so tight I really cannot fault them. What made me even more gobsmacked was the fact that my dad actually knew the choreographer! Sadly tomorrow is their last show but if it was playing longer I would make it a must-see!
All in all I can safely say the presents I have received over the past few weeks have definitely made my eighteenth one for the books!
What would be your perfect day in London?
